Summer Edible Flowers – Pick On-Demand & Pesticide-Free (July 2021)
Organically Grown, Seasonal Edible Flowers
*For local pickup only. Pre-order at least 2 days in advance for Thursday pickups at Revolution Mill, Greensboro, NC.
Edible flowers are some of the most colourful and pretty, though not the easiest, flowers to grow. This season, we are proud to offer a variety of organically grown, minimally processed, fresh edible flowers from our cutting garden.
Knowing that they will end up either in my stomach or yours :), we grow our edible flowers without the use of synthetic chemical pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides.
Each order is a mix of our currently available flowers (see below). All edible flowers are picked fresh to order, refrigerated, and comes in a 5"W x 5"L x 2"H container.
*For special preferences of types of flowers, please send us a note during ordering and we will try our best to accommodate your needs.

Calendula flowers
Calendulas are known to have anti-flammatory, skin-healing properties that will soothe your skin in conditions like eczema, insect bites, rashes, acne and stings, etc.
To make calendula oil, all you need is 1 part dried calendula flowers and 1 part carrier oil (extra-virgin olive oil, coconut oil, and almond oil are all affordable and effective options!) Get further instructions here. And for a list of carrier oils and their healing properties on skin, reference this chart published in PubMed.
