In Bloom This Week
Each year, daffodils and tulips fill our cut flower garden in April and officially mark the beginning of a season of local offerings, popups, collaboration, and more.
This week, we can't be more excited to feature some of our delicate varieties in assorted colors – poppies, anemones, and perhaps even some delphiniums – in our spring bouquets!
Pre-order and pick up at our local small business partners' locations for these quintessential signs of spring.
It's also a Great Time to Plant These
We offer you plant, herb and flower starts in 4" pots, so you don't have to spend time all winter (and holiday season) sowing and taking care of plant babies for varieties not commonly found in big-box stores!
They are all plants, herbs and flowers that we have grown and loved. We think you'll love them too.
Growing from Seeds? Try Our Handmade Seed Tamper to Ensure Good Seed-to-soil Contact and Optimal Germination.
I was first introduced to the tamper by Monty Don, the popular gardening host of Gardener's World. He guaranteed a higher germination rate of small seeds by just lightly dabbling the soil with the tamper after sowing in seed trays, containers, and garden beds. This seed tamper makes a great Mother's Day gift or for a gardening friend. Made from FSC certified upcycled wood, it measures 3.75" in width and 8" in length.
