Kenzan Flower Frog – Rectangular, Long

Used for ikebana flower displays, these Kenzan brass frogs are suitable for a variety of plant materials, from woody stems to soft green flowers. 

I love this particular make and size at 4.5" long x 1.3" "deep" so it is not too thin. It gives you an ample number of pins in both directions when you want the flexibility for a fuller design. The weight also helps anchor larger flowers. 

Tip: For larger twigs, make criss-cross cuts into the bottom of the twigs so they can be inserted more easily. Lower into water in saucers or dishes when you complete your design, and top up daily.
